The new feature in the Total Mobile App is the picture power view. Looks like very big improvement to help doing inspections. You can start the inspection with just taking pictures!! That is exactly how I work; Outside pictures first, then sketch, then to the interior. Much more intuitive!! For those a little concerned about using the mobile app this might help you get over your concerns with regard to inspection workflow.

Can you give a short version of what the Picture Power View does?

When you start an inspection you can choose two options.
1) You can start with the sketch and then go through each section in the total mobile app that corresponds to the 3.6.
2) You can start taking pictures of the features WITHOUT having to go through each section that corresponds to the 3.6.
a. Site: All photos relevant to the site from property access to defects, damages and deficiences can be taken.
b. Exterior: All photos relevant to to the exterior can be taken, front, rear, etc.
c. Interior: All photos relevant to the interior.
d. Subject Amenities: All photos relevant to amentiies like decks, pools
e. Garages….
d. Outbuildings….

And what is nice is they are all labeled ahead of time! Very slick.

And this is how most of us do appraisals. We start by taking pictures of the exterior, influences, decks, etc. We don’t start on the inside and go out. This is really big improvement. This is exactly how I do my workflow with 2.6. Don’t have to change anything.

Thanks!
I just got the notification from ALAMODE about it, and it does sound slick. It is nice that they allow the appraiser several options of how to deploy it.
