New Forms

A month ago, I looked into the form after like first page, I got a headache and never looked back. Glad the form won't be effect until late next year or later or never.
From what I gathered, seemed like a lot of form filling and less comments. Good I guess since I have lots of spelling mistakes in my report.

It's, again, not OUR form. We are Appraisers, we select the proper way to deliver a report. Why do we allow an outside influence to dictate what we do/report???? They pay us...
I'm very old school, 30+ years Certified, add 10+ years as a RE Broker. Not a profession for any of my college ++ Kids.So true

I took the 7 hour class. It was interesting. However, I will now call it the new uad.hell form developed by some idiot savants.
I got a lot negative to say, but you dopes need to take the class, so you can know the reason for your soon early self retirements.

I did - way back at the ACTs conference. It was, plain as day, total, 100%, pure unadulterated Bull ****.

PS - And - despite what "they" never tire of telling us - it was indeed INTENDED to achieve this result.

Once you realize it, you're OK with moving on. The only stress comes if you are actually dumb enough to try to "learn it". Trust me on this one. I was "ahead of the curve". Been there, done that. ;)

I took a class and I still don't get it.
I'll take it again before we're forced to use it.

There is nothing to learn. It is just pages of answering a question yes or no, which leads to the next question.
There is more details to remember about the subject and the comps to be put in the report.
This will take more time to just fill in. Nothing important to help, just more details.

I'm not too good with details. I like to be brief and to the point as you can tell from my posts.
Wished the new form would have been shorter.

Bottom line: you are going to learn and adapt or you are not going to be doing GSE appraisals.

The joke's on them - I've already carried enough water for them to have been able to retire. (Good luck mass-minting new appraisal homunculi to help them when the &*^$ hits the fan again with low interest rates - I carried their heavy load long enough). This last year is just 'gravy' ... turning @#$% down left and right that I would have taken in past years ... nothing but easy ones now ... I leave on my own terms ... :clapping:
