I've been appraising for 16 years, made the move to Las Vegas last October from Ohio and now with temps in th 100s I'm trying not to spontaneously combust. I am enjoying reading all of the posts and hope to find some to comment on soon. If anyone needs anything In Vegas feel free to give me a shout.

Welcome!

Try not to burst into flames. My husband wants to move there this year too. How is the marketing going? Are the lenders willing to give you business even though you may not be familiar with the area? I'm in Riverside, CA and doing quite well with established accounts. I'm very nervous about moving where we don't know anyone. Maybe we can stay in touch.

Welcome...hold on to your wigs and keys and keep hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times.

Going Well

I had a position with an appraisal firm before I made the move, so the work part is good. The hard part was definitely leaving family and friends. Its just me my wife and my two year old. You really learn a lot about yourself making a move like that. It has been very good for my family. If you do decide to move let me know. And of course if you need any appraisal work done in Las Vegas, give me a shout.

Only 100, well guess what? Here comes summer, and you will probably remember that as a cool day :Eyecrazy:......... Just kidding it rarely hits 125.
