It's almost like nobody ever bothered to read the past decade of appraisers blogs, or the appraisal scoop website before that point in time...

Well, at least someone is listening.

The appraisal industry should team up with the suicide prevention hotline type companies.

Can't think of a worse treatment for any body of workers out there in this country.

GSE heads should all be fired. TAF persons should be investigated and audited. The entire AMC industry should be audited and fined, potential for the largest class action in US history. The kick in the pants will be if the settlement goes to the AMC appraisers, the exact same people whom colluded with the AMC's to defraud home borrowers in the first place. AMC appraisers should either have their licenses rescinded or be sanctioned and prohibited from doing any lending work for at least a decade.
