New URAR form - help wanted -

Don’t fear the new form that isn’t a form at all, fear the industry notables trying to frighten people into buying videos, trinkets and gadgets that promise to guide you through the process. It may be years before they actually launch, they have far too many cobwebs in their system and are still removing floppy discs from the beta version.

independent would mean you would use your own form...right, DW? :rof:

The new form is too long. Will take longer to complete appraisals as well as higher fees at least from Fernando.
Lenders don't like it and be awhile before or if ever be implemented.

I bet our software companies will offer training. Mine ( alamode ) is offering a webinar on it - but it is not yet a real training one, more an overall overview. Or something like that.
The ACI product is termed "Workbench."

Okay - I would like a referral regarding the new URAR form in regards to a class - online or in-person - regarding this new way of report writing that everyone seems so afraid of ...where did you find a class ?
The only one I found - I could not attend -
I guess call my state appraisal commission ????
Thanks in advance.
Kinda sorta seems to me that the baseline source of info would be FNMA, e.g. Selling Guide Announcement (SEL-2025-04) although it seems directed to lenders more so than appraisers.

The document also includes a current definition of Market Value that IMO would be an excellent source to be reported in each appraisal including GPAR reports, even if the verbiage isn't any different than the previous definition.
