New Virus Warning!

If you receive an email from UPS stating that they tried to deliver a package but the address was wrong, do NOT open the email. There is a virus hiding inside. My computer tech just cleaned my machine and he knew exactly what happened. It seems that he had another client call him last night and he went to their office at midnight for this same virus.

We've received two of them since yesterday. Haven't opened either one. Our AVG virus checker snagged the first one but the second one slipped by. We are expecting a UPS package so I can see how this one can easily catch someone off guard. Nefarious little b@stards, aren't they?

Yall have virus protection like NOD32 right? Be protected with a good virus provider. It's cheap insurance, especially when compared to E&O.

Listen to Evan. You need the virus protection. I was stupid and let my anti-virus software lax. It would never happen to me, right? Well, last month I was hit by a virus that went through my entire network. It hit my main computer so I logged onto my laptop to see how to fix the problem and it hit my laptop. I told my son to shut down his laptop before it hit it. The computer kept rebooting and I could not even log on. I was lucky and was able to get in the computer through safe mode and installed a new anti-virus software. I did not lose any data but I do have an online data backup (Cobian) just in case.

The virus is sent with a UPS email. The key is that it is NOT from UPS.COM.
