My question in the General Forum was that I'm not able to access older Post. It seems as if this new Software only applies to Post made with this new Software. If for some reason you have to delete a post, why not respond to the post prior to deleting it, otherwise there is no way for me or anyone else to know what happened to it, short of sending you an email or post an inquiry.

Also If you are requiring a username for registration, as the dialog box indicates, you should indicate that that username should or has to be one's real name. Otherwise the Post will be deleted. :?:

I try to respond to most posts, however with the change over I can not respond to all. If you've been reading the new software forum you know that all the other posts will be back online. In fact they already are, just click the link at the top of the page that says "old board". You can read them but can not respond to them, as the new software can not interface with the old posts.

However feel free to post a new message on this board and discuss whatever it is you have on your mind!

Except please do not complain about the software,it has been online less than 24 hours and is a work in progress! This was not something I just up and done! I have been looking at it for a couple of months and think it is what we need to take AppraisersForum.com to a higher level in usefulness.

Give it a week of honest trial, then I'd be willing to bet you won't want to see the other software.

You responded to my Post, it's me that is confused, and seem to be loosing my way with this new Software. The Post was in a different section of the Forum than I thought. Overall I like the new Software, but it'll take a few uses to get use to. There are similar Software on other Sites on the Net.

Sorry, if I confused you. Just start at the main page and all is laid out. I moved your post from the general appraisal forum to the software discussion forum because it was more appropriate. That's the great thing about this software, if someone posts in the wrong forum I can move it to the right one! Couldn't do that with the old software.

Also, did you know you can edit, or even delete your OWN posts with this software! Say you get mad at someone and post something in haste. Then after a minute or two you wish you didn't post it. You can go back and click the "edit" or "delete" button and change it or get rid of it!

I know this is an old post that I'm bumping up, but what happened to the old board(s)? Can any of the old posts be searched and/or viewed?
