I hate it for JD. That's because I hate to see any small business go under. Small business is what drives this country. I don't feel that way at all about the Too Big to Fail crowd.
On a who favors who side I would absolutely stay away from ACI. Maybe the software is cool and works, but as a potential customer I have never liked his partnering with the Too Big to Fail Crowd.
So I have been using Alamode for over 15 years. I made one tech support request in all these years. One! That's 6 or 7,000 reports. Is the software expensive. Some will say yes. I say relatively speaking NO! I have never had any down time(lost money) in all these years. Does the Web site integration make me any serious money? Not really, but then again it makes me more than enough to cover the higher cost of Alamode. That's a Win Win right there. How good is that!
