A friend of mine who has gotten out of the business has old MLS books that he wants to get rid of. Does anyone have any idea what a fair price would be for his books. He has Quarterly Sold Cummaltive books for CLAW (Los Angeles Westside). The years are 1988 through 2002. Our office already has the same set of books and we use them for retrospective appraisals. Any ideas?

I had a full set for the Ocala/Mrion County MLS from 1983 to 2005. I put an announcement in the MLS bulletin that they were availble for free. Got one call. Gave then to that appraiser.

"In my market" - worthless!

When I left MI in 2001, I tried to sell (A Ton) MLS books from 1985 to date...no takers. I gave then all to an appraisal friend. I had to talk him into taking them.

I think it is against the rules for most MLS offices for a subscriber to re-sell the MLS information.

omg... can't believe someone still has MLS 'books'.... lol
