Does anyone know where I can find old Los Angeles MLS Books for a 1983 retroactive duplex appraisal?

Try the local MLS board for where the property is?
Good luck with finding 38 yo books that have probably been recycled long ago.

Our MLS keeps a complete library of SOLD books from the inception of the MLS. I think I have about 10 years of books in our MLS still in my back room.

Loring,
Message me. I might know of an appraiser that might have access to the books.

I did one last year the guy died in 1979-As far as old MLS books I once had them back to 1979-Our MLS board does not have a library anymore- With that being said the way I did it was I have some guys I know who work as title officers and I gave them the APN#-Lot Block and tract number and had then run all units in 1979 in a 5 mile radius. The nice part is there is nobody that can review and challenge an-old retrospective that far back -Also they did not use interior photos in LA MLS until the late nineties. I can't promise but if you want to private send me that information I will call my buddy at the title company Monday morning and see what he can do. They pulled it off for me so maybe you will get lucky and they don't charge me.

find a very old appraiser who was appraising then. most SRA & MAI were holding onto all their MLS books.
