Licensed Appraiser

Harrington Appraisal Group is a Virginia based Real Estate Appraisal Firm with over 150 Lender's and Appraisal Management Companies as partners.
We're looking for a Licensed Appraiser from any state to fold into our network of clients and AMC's, with preference given to South Carolina, North Carolina, Maryland, Tennessee, and Florida.
We aim to maximize your potential as a Real Estate Appraiser, all while maintaining a flexible schedule so you can work from any location.
We use the TOTAL for mobile application by A La Mode and we will train the qualified candidate on how to use it if unfamiliar.
With our model, top appraisers can earn above $150,000 per year, based on successfully completed orders per week.
As the current market slows causing less Contract Appraisal work to become available, you can rely on us and our lender network to keep your schedule filled and the paychecks rolling in.

What we do for you:
  • With our process, we schedule your inspections for you, and take care of the constant but required communication with clients, lenders, AMC's, and property owners, so you don't have to!
  • You of course only work when you want to, choosing your preferred turn-time for orders/assignments. (Report turn-time from acceptance to delivery plays a major role in earning potential.)
  • We tailor your inspection/due date cycle around your chosen schedule, and bring you business accordingly.
  • Upon order award, we prepare the entire order for you, organizing all important details into one centralized location and easy to use format.
  • You simply research the property prior to inspection for some preliminary data and show up for the inspection at the pre-scheduled time provided.
  • Using your collected data from subject inspection, our experienced and qualified Data Entry team handles the data heavy form sections for you, saving you considerable time and allowing you to increase your throughput and earn more.
  • You simply approve the report or make edits in your preferred format, and we take care of the rest.
  • With these tasks, and with a majority of an Appraiser's required routine communications covered, you'll have exponentially more time to focus on what matters.
  • As expected with each Client's Engagement Letter, if report revisions are requested, timely completion within 24 hours is required.
  • Our Firm's reputation and our vast network of lenders keeps your schedule full, even in slow markets.
  • For all this and more, we offer a competitive fee split.
Save time and hassle, and allow our team to handle the time consuming aspects of the appraisal process.
Please reach out to discuss this position if you are interested!

Note; We are not looking for trainees. Please only apply if you are a Licensed Residential Appraiser, Certified Residential Appraiser, or Certified General Appraiser. Thank you!
