OpenAI "Dev Day" this coming Monday in SF:

I just saw a post from Allie Miller on LinkedIn:

====. What does this mean for appraisers? =====

1. Well imagine you could upload a bunch of MLS photos, including your photos of the subject property, and ask ChatGPT to rank them based on features, quality, and condition. This would be a totally objective ranking - and if you know what you are doing, could pretty much nail your value with very little potential bias.

2. Of course, many other things are possible, such as getting pertinent information on market trends, risk, and so on.

3. ...

SF Bay Area. ... We are still the center of the world.

AI goes dark: ChatGPT bot is refusing to respond to users' requests - and its makers admit they don't know why

ChatGPT users reported more refusals and shorter answers from the AI after this Thanksgiving. OpenAI told users AI 'behavior can be unpredictable,' and has vowed to fix the issue

ChatGPT is having a mental breakdown.

:ROFLMAO:

ChatGPT has been neutered shortly after it's launch. It's great but OpenAI has made it dumb so as not to offend and the video demo they showed was staged and given prompts before hand

It's going to be interesting to see how they "monetize" AI.

Remember "www" and the information highway? You can Google anything for free, less your monthly internet service. Of course it's paid for with ads.
Remember AR and VR? Are they making any money with that? Google Lens is free.
Right now the only ones making money on AI are the "picks & shovels" sellers...chips, hardware, data centers, etc... I heard an analyst on CNBC saying he polled MSFT users and 80% they said they would pay up to $20-25/month per user for AI. With 1.2b users that would be $19.2b in EXTRA revenue just for MSFT. They had $218b in sales over the past year. Guy has a $600 pt on MSFT.

It's just getting started but OpenAI is already making over 100 million a month
