Opinion: Does it pay to have an MAI?

I wasn't painting you as a criminal, I was painting you as someone that had prior problems and seemed to enjoy putting down MAIs. Yes, people put more credence to designations, just as they put credence in a licensed appraiser over someone that doesn't have a license. They do so because they are trained professionals. Your students do the same with you. Can they end up being wrong? Sure....look at Al Gore...he's won the Nobel Peace Prize :laugh:

Your post was such a negative twist to a simple question...almost like "yeah, go get your MAI so you can be a god and produce fraudulent appraisals without worry." Sounds really bitter.
