Notice USA dipped big time during a tariff from China under Trump and China imports decreased also. Many people were not in favor of tariffs that congress put in under Trump.

Both republicans and democrats.

Trade wars can get nasty.

It increased their costs in their businesses.

China was not going to absorb that tariff.

Local businesses had to absorb it.

How do you cover increase in costs to operate a business? You raise prices is one way or start laying off.

Look at major drop USA took on imports from China trying to trade war and minor dip China took on imports from USA. I don't know how you fix that. There is a wide gap right now. Almost everything I pick up is made in China.

Another question. How do they get the goods in USA? Ship, airplane? Idk

There must be thousands of tons of cargo crossing the ocean daily.

Millions of tons would be better estimate.

China is the greatest enemy this country has ever faced. Most of us have no understanding as to the history of China and what goes on there currently. Some estimates say the CCP has killed hundreds of millions of their own citizens over the past 60 years. They could’ve been our biggest ally after World War II, but we chose to turn our backs on them. Now we treat their murdering ruthless dictator, as though he’s royalty.

It’s embarrassing how our politicians bend over backwards for the most violent, communist dictator, the world has ever known
