Dang, you beat me to it Dog! .. ;) ... I'm rather excited about the new newsletter!

Webbed.

There's a lot of good stuff in it.

Those of you who have had their Oregon appraisals reviewed and the value cut by some reviewer in another state will find an interesting article. The board decided to launch a complaint in another state against just such a reviewer - we'll see how it goes.

There are quite a few closed cases you can read about - enjoy.

I concur, glad to see another issue after so long. Thanks to Bob and the staff, hope that they can continue with more issues in the future.
One additional thought, Paul, maybe you should post a thread/link in the general appraisal section of the forum. This kind of information can be helpful to appraisers nationwide.

To All,

Hmmmmm The page five article is a repeated old one from past newsletters.... I think they kinda, sorta, shoulda updated it a bit as not to currently be referencing the retired Supplemental Standards Rule... . Oops!

Webbed.

P.S.. Oh man! The fourth paragraph of that non updated article on page five contradicts the entire thrust of the page ten article not to use Fannie forms for non-lender work when it states appraisers physically altering certifications being appropriate under USPAP! Bonk!!!!!!! LOL>>. double oops! The old page five article still makes a good point about inspections and conflicting addendums with preprinted stuff... but come on... I don't see our board missing that one... Yikes! .. I think the page ten article makes it all clear however. ;) All and all, another home run by the Oregon ACLB.

Good job to all the Board. And I see that they finally dinged a Skippy! But like the Terminator, after some CE "She'll be back"!

I commend your state on an excellent newsletter. It is chock full of great stuff! I wonder if Wayne would be interested in posting a thread dedicated to posting links to our states newsletters? I think it is interesting to see what is going on in other states.
