Owned Solar System/proper Docs?

In warm climates, a home uses about 40 KwH per day. 10KwH would mean $14,000 to store one day's electricity use. 10 KwH might get you to bedtime from dark, provided you are not in a humid warm climate where night tempertures keeps the AC humming all night. Now if you are already in a super-efficient home, with geothermal CHA, you might just be able to do that, but how long do these systems last before they need replaced? 3 years? 5 years?

Had one about 3 years ago where the homeowner had installed windmills. Now this was up on the plains above Dallas near where the wind farms are located. Positive is that when the wind blew, they generated power, but you get a stagnant high, the winds stopped, no power. At night, when the winds died, no power. He tried to compensate by putting in batteries and a converter. Bottom line was about a 50% ROI.
