Typical Appraisal Institute favoritism is the reason why PAREA is a failure. Heck, the insta-toot doesn’t even have a QE package for aspiring appraisers, how in the world does anyone think PAREA will be ran any better?

And, the back-and-forth with the Canvas submissions can take two to four days, which means each tiny step takes almost a week because mentors don't work on weekends or holidays.

As someone in the program I do think it seems more like a student to mentor problem. They certainly get off every holiday though lots of em … maybe that’s just today’s world though

Wow, I dug up the reddit thread. This one takes the cake: "....Worst program ever. I finished a few months ago and can't get myself to take the licensing exam. I really want nothing to do with the industry after my experience in PAREA."

Dang shame.
