Ever since I installed the software for DSL last week I am having trouble keeping passwords. Each time I go into something, such as this forum, I have to put the password in even though I have the boxed checked to save the passoword. Does anyone know how to correct this?

Cliff,

Insure that your setting for cookies is enabled ..

I have the same problem and have had for eons. So, where do I go to ensure that setting for cookies is enabled?

I still have to log on every time too. Help, airphoto, help!

For Windows XP try:

To change your privacy settings

In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
On the Privacy tab, move the slider up for a higher level of privacy or down for a lower level of privacy.

For others Click on Help in IE and search for "cookies" It will tell you how to enable them or disable them.

On account of I abhore InterNut Explorer 6, most of my work is with Nut's Cape 7.2 .. in that case, go to 'Tools' and choose "Cookie Manager."

Info above is useful for IterNut Explorer .. mine is set to 'medium' security on the slider, and all works fine on the few occasions where I've used it ..

I found my problem! I had set the Security to medium, but I had custom checked the Forum to allow all cookies. Oddly enough, this kept me from logging in automatically. Now that I have removed the Forum from this setting, all works well.
