I think this is it.

You can curse me OP if it is not:

U.S. Department of
Housing and Urban Development

451 7th Street, S.W., Washington, DC 20410

Find a HUD office near you

I would not swear to that. There are deeper issues here.

This woman or man needs to talk to FHA. Let me get a link:

Let me find their State contact info.
Terrell gave the OP the correct advice. Calling FHA over this issue would be an exercise in futility, they would simply read the handbook back to them.

Remember HUD and FHA are the same. So if you need to talk FHA then tell the person so.

You can't answer the Op's questions when they have the terminology wrong and they're not providing all the pieces to the puzzle.

We have yet to see the "factual errors" with the exception of not measuring 1/2 of a room which lacked detail. The using of sales over a year old was also not made clear. Since FHA requires the first 3 sales to be under 12 months old but actually prefers under 6 months old. The OP said lender "A" agreed with her but also said they did nothing. Which doesn't really wash

I don't know on FHA rules. However, I would ask lender B to call Appraiser A.

Appraiser A will probably be more than happy to correct original appraisal.

Appraiser A will probably be cheapest way to get new appraisal if FHA requires more updated appraisal.
Lender B call Appraiser A? You do know Appraiser A cannot talk with Lender B about the Appraisal Report, right?

What does the lender lose from "agreeing." Its just passing the buck and the customer and always right thing. How often will that front line person disagree with their customer to their face.

It doesn't make sense to me because I don't approach it from the basis that "every lender is evil"

Never said evil, its just easier for them to nod their head and say the appraiser must of done something wrong if it didn't come in at the sales price.
