Pennsylvania and female appraisers.

The point was along the lines of, how often does our state announce suspensions and revocation? Isn't it a little odd that all three were female? And since we are equal...would one not expect a few males there too? Just statistically odd.

Isn't it odd that only males have posted replies so far excluding the OP??? It's clearly a conspiracy. :new_smile-l:

Not really, what with laundry duties etc:unsure:

Statistics is only relevant when the sample size is large enough to deduce a reliable conclusion. If 97 appraisers were sanctioned and 94 of them were women, I would certainly see your point. However, three suspensions/revocations wouldn't mean much in Rhode Island... let alone a state as big as Pennsylvania. Maybe all three were guilty of egregious USPAP violations? Maybe charges are pending against two dozen male appraisers? I don't think that there's enough information here to even begin to suggest that there's an equality issue.

Maybe it's due to the fact that most female appraisers are lousy.

I'll just wait here for Pam to chime in.

Gale = male

Gail = female

So, if you find yourself in a tranny bar (as described by Mr. Rex) and if someone wearing a scarf tells you her/his name is Gale/Gail.......ask it to spell it for you. LOL
