Plans/Specs
I place the plans on an easel and shoot digital macro photos of each page, then I paste those in the report. Similar to initialing the pages, but an easy step to do.
I have a tripod that I put my camera on also, which makes nice clean photos.
I will also use a photo of the artist's conception of the front of the home for my cover sheet. And while I have photos of the site and street scene, I also have a photo sheet with photos of the elevations of the home.
Never had a complaint yet for having too many photos.

I think I've thought of something I did not spot as an answer...
Sketch the plans!!!!!!!
Do not just take the GLA off of some paperwork from a builder. Use your own sketching software, confirm and use your own estimate.

Hi,
I'm doing my first appraisal per specs and plans.
So far it seems pretty straight ahead. Are there any specific comments I
should be putting in the addendum? Not sure if I'm missing anything specific that would be different from a standard appraisal.
