I have had AT&T for years but they are now pricing us out of sight. We use them for internet, phone service and Directv. What alternatives do I have in order to maintain an internet, cell phone and television that includes sports which is really all we watch. Any suggestions?

Peacocks streams live sports for a cheap monthly fee - just need a model/internet address it can read. There are a ton of internet and cell phone providers out there - I pay for AT T cause reliable but they are on the $ side.

Buy a Roku and download Sling. Roku is free - as are many of the TV apps on Roku. Sling is about $40 a month for the sports channels I think. For phone, I use Mint Mobile. $25/month unlimited over Verizon network.

Sports is what gets you. Really need a full TV service if big into sports. YouTube TV is the best TV service out there. You won't save much unless you can get away with not having home internet.

I just don't see how someone can sit in front of the tube for an entire Saturday and/or Sunday watching sports. No judgement - I know that's really important to a lot of folks. I just can't do it. I can handle about an hour or so of watching the Longhorns, but that's about it.

Peacock is probably the best streaming service for sports, but Paramount Plus offers CBS content and Hulu now offers Fox. Losing ESPN is tough to get around, though you can get ESPN Plus combined with Hulu. Altogether, that would be probably be about $40/ month for TV, although Disney tries to increase the price every 6-12 months.

Another option is just to call and threaten to cancel. It is a tired spiel, but something that I do every year with Dish, and they knock the price down. Currently on their slimmed down package for $48/ month, which doesn't have ESPN.

I am sure costs could be cut but old habits endure.

ATT phone service
Directv streaming - there are various packages
Frontier fiber internet

Some services offer bundles/packages, but there are so many that it can get confusing. Shop around, go on other bb like Reddit, and see what folks recommend.
