HELP.
During last week I took about 400 photos of 10 ten properties, uploading from my Galaxy A15 5G to Google Photos, one property at a time, following each inspection. Then one day the camera icon on my phone disappeared although the app management program indicated that the app was still installed. I finally give up looking and downloaded a different camera app that works great. HOWEVER, SOMEHOW, all photos of about 3 of the 10 assignments are GONE GONE GONE, not in Google Deleted or Archives or Collections, or even available when I do a search by the recent date range. Of course the kicker is that I also receievd a Low Memory error on my computer, and decided to delete many many photos, probably including the recent photos that I MUST FIND TODAY or it is curtains for what's left of my career. ANY PEER ADVICE because I honestly don't want the client or the owners or the lawyers or anybody to know that I AM EITHER AS DUMB AF, or just born under a bad sign. I already cursed and screamed and prayed sincerely so no use offering those suggestions. Damn. Damn. Damn.

Did you delete items in your recycle bin. Would be sitting there. There were, or are, undelete programs that will search for certain file types. If you find can a photo undelete program you will find them. But you will find all the deleted photos. Looking at their dates might help you find needles in a haystack Other action is to a small computer shop.
All of this may takes hours and patience.

People understand tech glitches and computer issues happen - explain the photos got deleted and you need to retake them, delay turn time -

Do you have a tech support person, or can you stop in person to the store that carries your phone? Sometimes, if you show up, they can diagnose or fix the problem. Good luck sounds awful stressful

Yikes, that stinks. Have you dug around all of the various file structures on your device? Google Photos trashcan?

I did date n location search in google recent, archive, collections, trash etc. Even other properties on same day appear, everythig but this propery. I got stuck unawares in a rainstorm. The house was beautiful and the nicr lady gave me a box of fresh donuts that I ate whike watching the rain. Of course the report I due today. OV already determined. And its a 3 hour round trip but the first assignments from a client ive been pestering for years who started me off with 10 rush jobs with more waiting behind. At least 20 hours devoted over weekend. Next to the local phone store.

Sucks.

I definitely prefer a separate camera for photos because I use the phone for other things like taking notes, drawing the sketch, looking at the map of comps when driving.

It's a pain flipping back and forth from the camera app.

Sure is. Sure does
I wonder if the fact that the camera icon disappeared might have caused it
Now I wonder whether different photo galleries on the phone are different databases???
