I have a prospective order to appraiser vacant land in the pine barrens.

The last time I did vacant land there was over about 10 years ago. I remember something about "credits".

Can anyone help with a basic primer on vacant land in the Pine Barrens?

I'd recommend that you speak to the planning division in waterever town the property is located in. Credits are typically for development or perc, and they depend on numerous factors. The planning department might also be able to give you leads on who is buying these properties and their contact info (at least in Southampton).
