"your computer is infected" warning, I can't recommend enough to run that Adware cleaner program I've attached a link to. It picks up stuff that antivirus programs miss.

As a matter of fact, everyone should run that program once in awhile even if you're not getting a your computer is infected warning.

I have Malwarebytes and Windows Defender active and they are silent. I think this is rather an ad scam because the few times I saw it yesterday it ended up with an offer to purchase an antivirus subscription (McAfee, maybe?).

It's a constant battle to be sure.

That program that I attached is made by Malwarebytes and looks for different bugs. It's free, a rather quick scan, and if it catches nothing, no harm no foul.

Just trying to pass on to others what has helped me in the past.

I agree and there are several out there that will find a bug that is in there. I get what Terrel gets frequently. I don't get that antivirus popup. That might be coming from something mcaffee installed on there. I install adw antimalware bytes and let it run and then uninstall it. I keep superantispyware on the computer and I clean the disc of cookies and temporary files frequently.

I still get that popup terrel gets where the site just won't load. I get another one that pops up and says oops we ran into some problems. Please try again later. It may be in the browser console whatever that means.

many times I can refresh the page and it will start working again.

Those errors don't pop up on any other website than this one.
