Portland appraiser wanted

Hello, an appraiser I knows son is looking at purchasing a new condo in Portland, but the appraiser is not from the area (nor am I) and wanted to know if I knew any good folks to recommend for his son to at least consult with prior to signing on the dotted line. Where in Portland? Also, please define "good folk" - I know all kind up there (good, bad & ugly). Like all cities, it varies from area to area.

I am not sure how to adjust for "Hipness". Doug is retireing located in Cental Oregon. pdexters office is in Portland, you can try him.
