I used A la mode appraisal software 20 years. Forthcoming are cautionary tales to new appraisers, those with the software or those thinking of moving might consider.
If using Wintotal you are putting all your eggs in one basket due to the products interconnectivity. Clearly never a good idea! Every year A la Mode/ Wintotal/Corelogic will charge an extension fee to enable .env for about $350 and with ACI and others software companies this fee is included.
The website they offer for $300 is a one-page script and does not get noticed. You can create an amazing site for about $74. Do not waste money on a Wintotal Website. When I clicked contact me I got no message to my email. When I asked CORELoGIC/ A la Mode I got no help.
