Ok, I passed my State Licensed test on Nov 3 and the scores were reported to the TALCB on Nov. 5 per a supervisor at Promissor. Well, something messed up because TALCB is reporting that there is a problem with their new software and the scores aren't showing up for my name. So now its been almost a month, and still have not been issued my State License. I can't get anyone at the board to help me sort this out.

What the heck can I do? Any recommendations for someone to speak with at the board that might be a little more helpful?

I am in the same situation that you are :( I passed my cert. exam in Sept/Oct or so and still have not received my certificate. I finally got a hold of the TALCB yesterday and they said that they have been unable to receive the test scores from Promissor or there is some kind of back up. She told me it would not cause any problems for me other than getting my certification later than expected, that the problem is on their end only. The lady I spoke to said someone would call me back today but I have yet to hear from them. Don't worry too much, you're not the only one. Hope this helps :)

Gee, sorry to hear about all the problems you guys are having. I took my test on Sept 18th and received my license about two weeks later, give or take. I must've got in just before the back-up started. However, I have called the TALCB several times in the past and I found them to be very helpful ... as long as you can get them to answer the phone !

I've never heard a phone message that said 'do not leave a message, we will not return your call' before, and was a bit put off by it. But persistence works every time. :)

Best of luck to you both!

Get your Certification, The market is demanding it. I'm not trying to be a harda$$, but I am seeing it in request.

Thanks for the replies everyone, and well, I finally received my license. It was indeed some problems with the scores from Promissor, but I'm just glad that the wait is over. Now on the path to Certification, for sure.

Oh boy..took my exam in mid November..still no license in the mail. Finally talked to the right person at the board and was told I wasn't showing up on their list of exam results the day I took it. They don't even show they have received the certificate I got from the testing center, but luckily I made copies before I mailed it to them.
