Property with Negative Value

An acre on the moon can be purchased for $18.95. No air and direct exposure to solar radiation don't cause negative value.

As I recall those sites would be great for solar energy up to 50% of each month, but are complete heck in regards to keeping the solar collectors clean.

The chat here should recognize the differences in negative calculated results from approaches to value, and reconciliations that should reach a null value conclusion versus a negative value conclusion. The debate here needs to see that "zero" is not a value either. Zero is a place holder. If one has no apples, then "zero" is not the number of apples that one has, as one hasn't any. Debating getting a bite of a negative apple versus a zero apple is one rather silly debate if I were asked when hungry.

Trying to come to grips with the nature of 0 has driven many an aspiring math major to an advanced degree in sociology: Duckie, you're working an extreme mental harship on all who read this.

Us physics types not only had to deal with zeros and negative numbers, but also imaginary ones.:)

Are we talking 2 dimensional planes or the more interesting 3 or more? Interestingly enough, 0 is always at the center no matter how many planes, at least in most human mathematics. Some of the extraterrestrial stuff gets a little funky, and often doesn't prescribe to some of Einstein's theories. I'm take an overnight class in ET mathematics every full moon. Finals are looking to be a real booger.

As I recall A LEAST one church/faith denied the existence of zero, and later denied the existence of vacuum, stating these concepts denied the existence of the divine.

Imaginary numbers are just numbers in Quadrants II & IV of the Cartesian Plane ... what's the big deal? :flowers:

Meanwhile I must revert to counting fingers and toes every time I have a math problem.

Ever notice that you can't write zero with Roman numerals.

Yep.
The "no zero" debate occurred shortly after Arabic numerals and math entered into the hands of Western Europe, long after the fall of Rome.

I think I'm more comfortable in a universe of 4 dimensions, where 0 exists at the periphery.:Eyecrazy:

But you physics types can't figure out whether its particles or waves, how can you cope with 0?
