Here in MA, each condominium deed has the same statement “created pursuant to M.G.L. (Massachusetts General Law) Chapter 183A by a master deed dated and recorded on certain date. Chapter 183A defines the MA laws for a condominium.
Call the custodian of record, ours is a Registry of Deeds for a county her in MA Ask if there is a difference between recording a condominium deed and a single-family deed. If there is a difference ask how they are recorded. Here in MA the registry record a Unit Deed for a condominium, not just a deed for a condominium. A MA condominium is always labeled as a Unit Deed, not just a deed.
