Has anyone in the Tidewater area taken courses from this provider? I am doing some online CE at this time, but I am looking for qualified education for upgrade. Their schedule and class times are pretty convenient.

Thank you.

George

I took the USPAP refresh there and as I recall it was cheaper than any of the other ones in the area. He used to instruct at Alpha College of RE so he's been at it a while. He takes time to explain items and makes it entertaining.

I would suggest you stick with AI offered courses.

Yeah, give more money to the organization that sold out the independent fee appraisers to the interests of the AMC's, Zaio, FNC, and the AVM proivders.

Certain members might have, but the organization didn't. The best education provider by far. No one can dispute that.

The AI may have done what you say, but the residential members did not. Soon you will understand that. You still can not find a better group of instructors or curriculum.

Being familar with the school in question, I would choose about any program over that one.

I understand that most residential members of the AI are decent people and good appraisers.....but the AI leadership in the past consistently choose to sell out the residential appraiser in favor of the interests of the AMC's, AVM providers, Zaio, and others. There education may be excellent, I just hate to see anyone contribute to this organization in any way.

Tim, I have read about these things too, but from what I remember, they are former leaders.

Are you in favor of chastising an entire organization (the largest and most influential organization in our industry) because of the actions of a few?

I am sure that you cannot dispute the quality of education offered by the AI (although costly) in regards to most of the other education options out there.

Bob Garrett is the man, great teacher.
