It rains on the just and unjust.

NE Arkansas and the Memphis area included have been in drought areas. Driest April I can remember including my bank account.

I thought April showers bring May flowers.

I am so happy for any farmers near Memphis that have got some rain.

I know if farmers are hurting, I am going to hurt eventually.

Farmland in Mississippi River delta farmland is considered the richest the farmland in the world. Farmers are crying for rain.

Fuel prices are hurting the farmers bad too. We will pay for it.

I am glad NE Arkansas got a little and NW Tennessee. I am sure they have a bunch of farmland. From a farmer's standpoint, the areas along the MS river probably produce more yield per acre than any dirt in the world. Very rich soil. If you can't grow something in that soil, you don't need to be a farmer. :giggle:

But you need rain and cheap fuel and fertilizer. Fuel and fertilizer have gone up on farmers. No rain, higher production costs sound like a government subsidy is coming.

Govt subsidy can't grow the produce. Rain can.
