VOTE FOR THE BEST ONE BUT IN COMMENTS RANK THEM FROM WORST TO BEST -- GOT OTHER CHOICES? YOU CAN DO THAT IN THE COMMENTS.
Out here both of those have bad similar reputations.I would say Lennar might be the worst with Horton running a close second.
It might depend upon the regional construction manager or perhaps the competition. Here Horton has started selling and they are cheap lousy homes. We have a small builder that builds something similar at similar price but will be brick veneer exterior and tile floors with carpet in the bedrooms. And a somewhat larger firm Rausch-Coleman who build a lot better houses - better in terms of the workmanship more than materials. Rausch is the son of a Cert. Gen appraiser who used to sit on our state board, and they are excellent developers at the low entry level. The trusses will be properly nailed. The plumbing will work. The AC and electrical will work. Cannot say the same for Horton. And we have a couple of Horton subdivisions where the hardboard siding looks like a washboard road on its side. Not impressed.Out here both of those have bad similar reputations.
