download startup control panel http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml and install you can control what is loading at startup. I use this as the very first thing to check when looking for adware that the anti-virus doesnt detect. Disable anything you cant identify especially random numbered programs. then get process viewer http://www.teamcti.com/pview/ to see whats running and from where. I bet you have a program attached to your kernel thats gonna be a biatch to get out.
