Reviewing appraiser called me.

Do you know so-and-so? Nope. Never heard of him. He signed a report and there is no stamp or number on the report. All appraisers must register in Arkansas.

Called the State. Report is signed by so and so and no number or stamp. But state reply was "Yes, so-and-so is registered and is number xxxx. I hate to say it, but they are probably too dumb to know they are supposed to stamp 'em. We see that a lot."

Come 'on folks. You wanna be a professional. You ought to at least familarize yourself with the laws of your own state [not to mention USPAP]. Might save a lot of grief later.
