Real Estate 'Photographer' Shot

Just once went to the wrong house with a fenced in back yard. Went to the back yard to take picture. Turned around to take a picture and saw the big dog house that i missed. And yes, between me and da gate was a german shephard looking at me. I had to move no matter what. As i got closer i noticed a chain. Was it short enough for me to make my way around it. Well yes, i'm here typing. or else it would have been that dog chewing on my bones in that secluded back yard.

Yeah this happens but I've always completed the inspection (quickly) I don't ever recall them being occupied though.

My first month on my own taught me this. Walked into a house....guy was getting out of the shower....forgot the appointment. Was in the shower when I knocked.

Walked in on a young lady in the shower my first time using a lockbox. Did all the steps, but she couldn't hear anything and didn't see me walk in the bathroom either. It was my last room and just back out of the house, locked the door and returned the key to the lockbox.

Was super POed at the agent and wanted to rage on them, but my mentor just told me to let it go. He got a huge kick out of it. Homeowner had no idea I saw her nekid.

It was a big reason I resisted entering homes unaccompanied when I went out on my own.

I had a request on an REO in a sketchy neighborhood. Realtor said, "No key necessary, sliding door is open." Walked in and an old, grizzly looking man was sitting on a chair in the middle of a vacant living room. I told him I was an appraiser. Gripped my loggers tape. Finished a quick inspection. Called the realtor and said she might want to secure the property.

isn't the alarm a sign...what if it was paschal walking in  :rof:
