And are they of French origin?

Or does one have a French husband, which gives them

The French Connection.

:D

.
And yes, they seem to be rather french themselves. both their first and last names have an exotic flair to them...

You're talking about my Huguenot relatives now??

You're relatives are too far removed to still have the "French Connection".

Us first gen folks, know how that "connection" can be played.

My first wife who died in 2012 was of French Canadian ancestry so does that give me a French connection?

Sounds like you didn't connect very well. :)
You Huguenots are trouble!
Can't be much worse off than St. Bartholomew Day, 1662. Which is why by 1699 my ancestors had gone on to Switzerland, Germany, then Netherlands, and onto London where they chartered ships to Virginia and founded Manakin, VA on the site of a Manacan Indian village. Interesting history

Y'all know I ain't shy. I mess with the real estate agents involved in these transactions. My favorite question is "if there is anything atypical or unusual about this transaction"? They immediately don't like me. LOL

The one who was most honest to me told me he had buyers nobody else had.

I reconciled that with the definition of market value and all the other market data I had along with analysis of the data. Story over.

From back in the day, reminds me of what went on in Dallas with the "I-30 condo scandals". Only difference is that an appraiser and lender were involved. Appraiser went to jail. Investors and lenders lost a bunch of money.

i have no real experience with issues like this but something to consider is an LLC needs a local agent to register their business with a state. there are lots of companies who act as the local agent for an LLC and don't really do anything of substance other than to provide a local address. it's under $100 per year for this "service".
