I have an ongoing problem with the accuracy of their data in my area. This is causing no end to my headache due to the fact that review appraisers and other sources use this data and question me constantly. I've had to bring to CoreLogic attention incorrect GLA, room count, flood zones etc and all they do is defend the data. "We're the largest data provided there is" huff puff.
I have made several calls to the assessor to double check their data, and they are wrong 100% of the time.

I have patiently asked to be released from my contract due to the ongoing problem in my area and all they do is argue and defend themselves. They aren't really interested in fixing the problem. I was told today that if a property has multiple structures, they combine it all into "gross area" and duplicate that into "living area". They will then extrapolate room counts into insane numbers. Awesome. When I try and get some solution (as far as the problems this is causing) they hang up on me. NICE! My rep has promised that the "next time it happens" he will indeed let me out of my contract but guess what. He won't. If it wasn't such a headache it would be comical. I am being told "yes, your house IS 3000s with 10 bedrooms" . "Yes, you do have 5 bathrooms". "Your shed, barn and all permitted structures of record ARE living area. :rof: No, we can't fix the problem. "It's less than 2% of the properties". How do they know this? Which 2%? Oh...and then I asked the guy in the data department what would he do in my situation"
"I'd take it with a grain of salt". "I'm paying for data that I should take with a grain of salt?" I asked him...he then hung up on me.

How wonderful to PAY for data and then have to call and verify that data? WTF???? Fail.

I worked with a borrower who was furnished realquest data once. I reviewed it and was confounded by how improper the data assimilation was.

Working with Realquest, just like working with Zillow?

Biggest largest data entity in this country? That's sort of a misnomer, since Corelogic is not an American company anymore. They may have started off here, but their base of operations is far, far away.
