Come to ole San Antone in August ... and you'll FEEL what hotter than **** REALLY feels like ... I LOVE IT ... just don't hang outside in the sun in midday ... Sacto. Summers are hot, but they are dry and that makes all the difference ... until sundown when the winds pick up off the Delta and temps drop 25 degrees ... used to absolutely HATE that ... and it gets too cold for me in the Winter ... don't have to worry 'bout it no mo, though ...

We cursed SA in college ROTC. Wouldn't let us out of our summer short sleeves well into November when it was biting cold here. 4th Army.

You do have a point there - it IS indeed a pleasant feeling. But for me, HEAT wins out.

I was a groomsman in a high school buddy's wedding in San Marcos in July, 1993. Stayed down there for about two weeks. It was so damned hot. One of the bridesmaids fainted during the wedding. Even with A.C. it was hot in the church.

We followed their protocols - the red diamond insignia.
