Charity is one thing... coersion is entirely another... seems to me that clause could make you 'in violation' in terms of "contingent on a subsequent event"!

I'd want to be real, REAL careful about accepting that kind of work ~ for reasons other than wanting to be paid for my time!

I've done some freebies, or reduced fee, for charity. But I can't remember off the top of my head refunding a fee. Have had my share of no pays.... that's why it’s now COD for out of town loan brokers and individuals.
