I'm going to be relocating my family/appraisal business to Montana- if I ever sell my house here in Tennessee.
I know that MT is a non-disclosure state, and am wondering what data sources are the most useful to appraisers in MT. I'm assuming that MLS is a given and provides sale prices, but are there any data services that you can pay for that provide any sales information-specifically for those properties that have sold/but were not listed in MLS?
Can you obtain sales prices if you go directly to the Tax Assessor's office and request it?
I'm used to having access to a large amount of data sources here in TN. This will be a huge change for me.
Any useful information is appreciated.
