If your license is close to expiring, I suggest you renew online. The BREA website recommends that you send in your renewal 90 days prior to the expiration date of your current license to avoid any overlap. Well by the time I finished up the required 56 hours of CE, I was less than two months out. I wasn't too worried as I figured there was still plenty of time. But just to expedite the process, I renewed online. It was the first time I ever renewed that way. It took about 30 minutes to fill out the application and scan all the CE certificates. I sent in my renewal on 1/2/2017 and to my surprise the new license arrived in my mailbox yesterday 1/7/2017. Nice. (y)
