Have any of you used rentometer.com for rental comps? If so, have you found the data to be accurate and reliable?

I just found the site and ran some sample reports. The trial is 4 reports free. The Pro version is $9/month for 20 reports and $29/month unlimited.

We don't have a great rental database in our area. The sample reports I ran gave me more comps than I expected.

Never heard of it before. Searched for a semi random address. The map thing is interesting. Quite a few results. I wonder where they get their info.

Is it pronounced "Rent-O-Meter" or "Rent-om-iter?"

My MLS has enough data most of the time. Here is a trick I learned years ago. Run a search on occupant marked "Tenant". A quick call to the listing agent will often reveal what the rent and term was.

That's a really good trick Mike.

I say Rent-O-Meter.
Wonder in my MLS allows searching by tenant occupied.
