For all I know the veteran has PTSD. I am just like Ms. or Mr. veteran, I am here to do my job. If you don't want me coming inside, that is your call. VA understands. I do try to get a little more personal. I always focus on real property rights.
I already know they are in deep doo doo. They do too. We are on same page there. I focus on subject real property rights.
Have you done anything to the house? Okay, tell me what you have done. Sometimes they just spill their guts on everything related to lender and the house. I am like okay. I am sorry for what you are going through.
I have no personal knowledge of your financial situation. None. I don't want to know.
I am here to appraise the house sir or madam (real property rights).
You need to understand how mortgage servicing companies work. I specifically worked for the mort servicing co, thems who collect your mortage payment, and send the rest to whomever. The service co has to send that payment whether you pay it or not. They get a piece of each payment to handle the transfer and paperwork, but in doing to they guarentee the monthly payment back.
Now there are landers, like banks, who do their own servicing.
This is getting into who holds the notes and how they get paid each month. Many loans are resold, in a chain of ownership, but the mort service co sends payment to the last link in that chain.
