Reporting USPAP violation

What's your point, Junior? That any person has to turn in an appraiser if there is a material review issue with their report? The OP has a client. Presumably, that client is a party and is mandated. Can they expect a blizzard of complaints from every person in the mandated class? Or every person they engaged subsequent to the transaction?

Who decides what is material? Perhaps that would take a reviewer. A reviewer doing a review and turning the work in. Not the appraiser.

I suppose I am "Junior"..... cannot see any other poster that comes close to that in this thread.

One should read the IAEG and ALL the footnotes that goes with it to have a better understanding.

Footnote 37 of the IAEG provides guidance for when a compliant should/must be filed in the regulated lending world.

An institution must refer. And maybe if this OP can do his assignment they will know if there is a material defect.

You referred to me elsewhere by my last name only, Jr.

I don't think my reference to you by last name is correct. I don't recall such.

I love how everyone gets so off topic. It is, after all Friday the 13th and I believe a full moon coming up as well. That being said, I check various sources, including my own mentor of years ago for correctness, and I find the forum the most informative and opinionated...just like it's suppose to be. Consider yourselves all part of the elite that serve to help others perservere. Howling off, Perseverance Plus.
