Anyone doing work in the impacted areas? I was up till 3 am watching coverage last night and I'm astonished. To say I'm more outraged by the Death of Mr. Floyd would be an gross understatement--But I'm curious to hear from people with current assignments in the areas. How will this impact your work? How will this impact our market?

My work ebbs and flows, there are times I'm in the Longfellow Neighborhood daily...but lately I haven't set foot east of I35W for months.
Hoping this can be a civil post

"I can't breathe".

Saddest video I ever seen man. I wish I didn't watch it.

Well in Los Angeles commercial real estate just took another blow , windows smashed out fires, rocks, yeah come on out to CALI- I saw this comming 3 weeks ago and had posted that the herd was getting restless and angry and none of them care anymore about C-19 all it took was a spark and sadly it was a black mans death by a bad cop , but frankly this was coming anyway, raiding targets and wale-marts for new TVs and stuff is not ap[rotest these guys just love a good riot and now everyone has face masks so its hard to get a good look at who the perpetrators are. So phase one of the experiment on locking people up in houses, with no jobs, no school nothing to do all day but drink and smoke pot a perfect recipe for class warfare.

And more is coming, and it may be worse.

It is really sad that those in charge don't learn, seems that virtually every decade, the people have to riot just to get those in charge to listen, and then, the listening doesn't last very long.

Oh but if you did not get your stimulus check, yeah,
it was routed through the Minneapolis post office, sorry about that.

Oh, and elections, well, the insurance pay out on burned buildings, even post offices.
Mail in those votes.
stay "safe"

.

I'm in Tangletown in South; have been limiting my work since pandemic to mostly all DVA (exterior-only) appraisals. Yesterday, I was actually quite happy to go out to semi-rural area, just outside of Prior Lake to complete a relaxing exterior only inspection of an acreage property. Usually I am very happy to be assigned orders in my home area of South Minneapolis; not these days. But yeah, I will be completing work in the highly impacted areas.

I think that once the rioting and looting get under control, there will still be demand for "affordable" (under $400K) properties in South Minneapolis. Utilizing the very most recent comparable sales will obviously be of paramount importance.

Yeah I believe that I probably will not be receiving checks on some past due assignments any time soon, also my girlfriend is still waiting for her $1,200 stimulus check...same with that one...

Don't worry about a pandemic - It will not kill you but the new angry mobs will -Watch New York City- Los Angeles California and major Cities - Its not going to be Covid -19 that kills you : LMAO

Why do anarchists like to break glass windows, tag buildings, and set buildings on fire? What did a building ever do to pi. ss off anyone? Houses don't kill people, houses house people.

Maybe it's not the buildings that tick off people,

but rather, is the landlords that own them, that were the indirect targets.
