Miss Ultra Violet has asked to me to suggest a gathering spot for our happy hour in downtown Scottsdale on December 14. I'm thinking Trader Vic's. I know it sounds touristy but it's actually supposed to be very trendy. It's about four blocks from the ASREB, and the Valley Ho Hotel (don't....) is right next to it.

How does that sound to everyone? I'll go check it out in a few days to see if it will work.
 
Thanks Dave and Ultaviolet...just as long as it isn't so noisy you can't hear eachother speak. I'm too old to sit there all night going, "What??? What????" Thanks for checking out a place. Oh, am I invited?:unsure:

I haven't been to Trader Vic's but I'll see what my more trendy friends say about it on a Friday. I was wondering if someplace like Devil's Martini up at Shea/Scottsdale might work, they have a huge patio with outdoor couches/lounges, so it wouldn't be too loud or crowded. But I don't really care, wherever you guys want to go.

Devil's Martini would work for me, actually it's closer to my house, but it might be a little far north for UV. I'm wide open to suggestions, and will make the grand sacrifice to go investigate them all.:new_all_coholic:
 
I will be staying at Wendy's house so whatever she thinks is fine with me! :leeann2:
