Security bar release

In some areas around here, instead of security or burglar bars they call 'em decorative bars because that's just what they are ... for decoration. I've noticed that when I require removal or installment of quick release (usually for FHA), the bars are just sitting out in the back yard when I return for the final inspection. What do you think happens to those bars when I leave.
