An Appraiser? God, no. Can be incredibly stressful. Hard as hell to get started on your own unless you know a lot of people. You'll have to be in good with an Appraiser usually and most don't want to train their competition. I'm 28 and have been licensed for 6 years. Requirements are now a bit steeper on licensing as well.
