Sinus/Allergy update

I had surgery for a broken nose and have had sinus problems before and after, although the headaches decreased after surgery. My daughter has had sinus issues as well this is what has helped both of us. Saline solutions sprayed or dripped, a neti pot, aroma therapy, essential oils, changing filters frequently, eating healthy food and avoiding processed food. LOCAL honey is supposed to be good for allergies. Neither one of us got much relief from big pharma products.

That honey is mostly filtered down, and 'regular' honey is not as great as we think honey is.

True raw honeycomb honey is the only way to go. It's super sweet, dense, thick, and rich. Usually looking white or yellow and you need a knife to get it out of the bottle.

That's the real honey that can last a 100 years and still retain nutrients and be edible with reconstitution. While most squeezable and really perfect yellow syrup honeys are filled with emulsifiers, additives, or are filtered down to attain such consistency. Food watchdogs have tested low priced honey and say a lot of it does not have any real honey in it at all. False advertising and food fraud for many regular honeys might be happening.

We get this wild bee farms organic honey from albertsons and it's really great. Costs like 8 bucks a little jar, but it's well worth it. And the honey is so sweet and rich you just need one decent swipe and it goes a long way. That little natural honey jar lasts longer than a standard honey jar twice the size.

True honey is loaded with everything in nature, so your body naturally incorporates the substances and develops immunity. Especially effective with allergies for long term solutions. Eat the peppers to protect yourself from water borne pathogens common to the environment. Consume the honey to protect yourself from air borne pathogens, common to the environment.

Just don't feed it to a baby.

I buy mine directly from the beekeeper. The jury is still out, but local honey is superior because the bees are pollinating local plants which are the ones which are affecting those with allergies locally. Roche Pharmaceuticals says this isn't true, they have a magic pill which works and is cheaper and has a few unpleasant side effects.

True, it can be deadly.

In Mexico, a judge just struck down a gmo grow permit for thousands of acres or something along those lines.

It was the bee keepers who provided the evidence which swayed the decision.

The final ruling contained a statement that gmo pollens are not fit for human consumption.

Meanwhile in America, the public is blisfully unaware of the dangers.

Monsanto moneybombed colorado regarding our weak arse food labeling initiative. They outspent all other anti-labelers by 5 to 1 or something. Millions and millions on lies. Counter news articles; Monsanto hemmoraging cash.

FYI, don't buy Annies brand anymore. Bought out by major gmo supporter.

After 2 days of use, Nasacort is still on my approved list:shrug:
And am still alive so I could have removed it or put it on ignore (hid it with other stuff I don't use currently).

I was going to go to the Doc today to see if they wanted to prescribe an antibiotic for the sinus problem that might also work well as a prophylactic for a wisdom tooth extraction I'm going to have next week. I went to the dentist first & he dentist talked me out of the antibiotics with respect to the extraction since there was no evidence of an extremely active infection in the tooth to be removed. It was sore as help last night when tapping on it (failed prior root canal), but no pin today per exam & the latest ex-rays didn't indicate a huge infection. Oh, OK. I'll not resist following official protocol:laugh:

How do you keep the bees from sucking the nectar of GMO plants? Labeling the plants perhaps?

The RW might try a moralistic approach, trying to teach the bees that sucking GMO plants is wrong.

The Left would fund a government study of sucking behavior in general & not publish the results if they damaged the LW:rof:

Libertarians would let the bees decide the nectar source to use, & then gather the honey from the healthiest bee hives that produced with a competitive advantage (lowest cost producer of acceptable quality honey).

stopped horsing around with this problem & got me some Cephalexin (Oral route) straight from my Russian supplier:)

A pill, a headache & upset stomach every 6 hours,

It has started to work already The sinus & ear canal infection & bronchial must have been bacterial. Yes, one shouldn't guess, but on the bright side, I'm having a molar extracted next week & pre-treating with this same antibiotic was an option. The darned tooth was gone over quite a bit multiple channel root canal & was plugged up never revisited from 10+ years ago! The original treatment failed, which was likely the reason it was't capped immediately. Statistically, a re-treatment is a loser at this point, a $2,000+ loser so opted for it to be inked for $200. I know lots of the readers here would offer to do it for free. Sorry, You'll have to fight me & win, for the privilege.:fiddle:

The ears & balance problem is cleaing up just in time for a tennis tournament this weekend. Life is good again!

The little girl with a doll wouldn't have made me scream, but the next scwnw with the posteriors of the two heavy set chicks pointed toward me may have caused a tear drop to form in the corner of my eye. We can't all be Chuck Norris all the time:shrug:

My Dad used to have chronic sinus infections. He finally went to a dentist who was worth their fee and who told my Dad there was a hole in his upper jaw into his sinus cavity. Apparently it was created when a wisdom tooth was pulled by a dentist who must have subscribed to the belief that anything could be fixed with a large enough hammer.

An oral surgeon fixed the hole into his sinus and he has been much better since.

Something to look into?
